Tap the Crop
Prospectus
Tap the Crop is a simple, colorful idle clicker where you grow your farm one harvest at a time. Start with wheat and work your way up through corn, carrots, tomatoes, and more, all the way to the rare Golden Crop. Hire farmers and machines to earn crops while you’re away, stack combos for bigger clicks, and catch events for big boosts.
How it plays
Tap to earn crops and buy upgrades and automations, sell farm once it becomes more valuable to buy meta upgrades and climb up to the legendary Golden Crop.
Opening an account with this game takes one press: Open the holding, above, and it loads on this page itself — nothing downloads and no form stands between you and the first decision. It is drawn for a flexible screen and takes its instructions from mouse, keyboard or touch, as the game prefers. It adjusts itself to upright and wide screens alike, so phone, tablet and desktop all present it properly. If a fullscreen control is offered, take it — a growing enterprise deserves the whole desk.
Analyst's notes for farming holdings
- Plant for the day after tomorrow. Farm games run on delays — the crop that matters is the one that ripens when the order, the season or the market is ready for it.
- Diversify one field at a time. A second crop line protects you from a single bad price, but five half-finished systems protect nothing except the weeds.
- Animals are annuities, crops are wages. Livestock pays slowly and forever; planting pays in bursts. A farm book with both survives a bad week in either.
Tap the Crop — questions from the readership
What does it cost to open Tap the Crop?
Nothing, at any point. The holding is free from the first click to the last upgrade — no account to open, no download to wait for, no paywall filed anywhere in its pages. The advertising around this page is what pays the bookkeeping.
What kind of game is Tap the Crop, exactly?
We file it on the Farming shelf of the ledger. It is a browser game through and through — the prospectus above is the publisher's own summary of what the game asks of you and what it gives back.
Can I play Tap the Crop on a phone or tablet?
Yes — it runs in the browser on phones and tablets just as it does on a computer. It adjusts itself to upright and wide screens alike, so phone, tablet and desktop all present it properly.
Is there anything to download or install first?
Nothing at all. Tap the Crop is an HTML5 game: press the open button and it loads on this very page, and closing the tab leaves nothing behind on your device.
