Cloudburg: Sky Farm
Prospectus
A cozy, funny sky farm on one floating island that keeps growing. Tap crops to make them grow faster, harvest, build a windmill, a bakery, a coop and a balloon pier, catch fish leaping up the waterfall, research upgrades in the observatory and scare off greedy seagulls. Goose mayor Gosha comments on everything.
How it plays
Tap ripe crops to harvest coins; tapping growing crops makes them grow faster, and fast tapping fills the tempo meter for bonus helpers. Spend coins on beds, buildings and upgrades to grow the island quarter by quarter. Tap falling stars, gift balloons and leaping fish for extra rewards, tap seagulls to scare them off. On PC drag with the mouse or use WASD to move around the island, the wheel zooms; on phones swipe to scroll.
Opening an account with this game takes one press: Open the holding, above, and it loads on this page itself — nothing downloads and no form stands between you and the first decision. It is drawn for a flexible screen and takes its instructions from mouse, keyboard or touch, as the game prefers. It adjusts itself to upright and wide screens alike, so phone, tablet and desktop all present it properly. If a fullscreen control is offered, take it — a growing enterprise deserves the whole desk.
Analyst's notes for farming holdings
- Plant for the day after tomorrow. Farm games run on delays — the crop that matters is the one that ripens when the order, the season or the market is ready for it.
- Diversify one field at a time. A second crop line protects you from a single bad price, but five half-finished systems protect nothing except the weeds.
- Animals are annuities, crops are wages. Livestock pays slowly and forever; planting pays in bursts. A farm book with both survives a bad week in either.
