Merge Elementals: Castle Defense
Prospectus
๐ฐ The horde is marching on your castle. All that stands in its way is a wall and a handful of elementals. ๐ฅ๐ง๐ Merge identical fighters to push them up the tiers. Fire, water and earth cross into wind, lava and nature, which cross again into ice, energy, spirit and sandstorm. Twelve elements: some burn an area, some slow the horde, some delete a single target. โจ Between waves, level up magic and take three spells into battle: fireball, frost storm, chain lightning, meteor shower, dragon call. ๐ The campaign never ends: swamp, snow peaks, desert tombs, fungus forest, lava inferno, void and meadows. Ten waves per world, the last a boss ๐น. Your army and gold carry over between worlds, so progress is never lost. ๐ Chests, keys, scrolls, castle upgrades, daily rewards. โ๏ธ Cloud saves: start on your phone, continue on desktop. ๐ฎ Merge, tower defense and strategy in one. Free to play, no download, no sign-up.
How it plays
๐ Drag identical elementals onto each other: two fighters of the same type and tier fuse into the next tier. Gold only buys tier one โ everything above comes from merging, and grid space is tight, so think about what you combine. โถ๏ธ Once your line-up is ready, hit Start Wave. Merging locks during combat: your fighters aim and shoot on their own, while your job is to cast spells on time and keep the wall standing. ๐ฐ Every kill drops gold. ๐ Wave over โ back to the prep phase: buy, rearrange, upgrade. The last wave of each world is a boss, and beyond it lies the next biome. ๐ If the wall does go down, you can revive on the spot for gems and carry on.
Opening an account with this game takes one press: Open the holding, above, and it loads on this page itself โ nothing downloads and no form stands between you and the first decision. It is drawn for a portrait (upright) screen and takes its instructions from mouse, keyboard or touch, as the game prefers. The file is drawn tall, for an upright screen โ a phone held the usual way frames it best, though it will run in any window you give it. If a fullscreen control is offered, take it โ a growing enterprise deserves the whole desk.
Analyst's notes for merge holdings
- Keep the board breathing. A merge game is lost in the corners first โ leave yourself empty squares the way you would leave yourself an exit, because a full board is a finished one.
- Merge upward in batches. Combining everything the instant it pairs feels productive and quietly wastes the chain bonuses that patient, staged merges set up.
- Know your top of tree. Merging without a target produces elegant clutter; merging toward one named prize turns the same moves into a campaign.
