Little City Merge
Prospectus
Little City Merge is a cozy merge-and-build idle game drawn in a hand-sketched pencil style. Tap empty lots to build homes, shops and public buildings, then drag two identical buildings together to merge them into a bigger one: a hut grows into a skyscraper, a market stall into a megamall. Shops earn coins, homes bring residents, and public buildings unlock new land and let your whole city grow higher. Spend coins on upgrades, reach each city's goal and move on to new cities around the world, each with its own architecture and twists. Your city keeps earning while you're away.
How it plays
Goal: grow your city and build a Public building of the level the city asks for, then travel to the next city. - Tap or click an empty lot to build. Building costs energy, which refills over time. - Drag a building onto another one of the same type and level to merge them into the next level. - Drag a building onto an empty lot to move it, or onto another building to swap them. Drop it on the trash bin to remove it. - Shops earn coins. Homes bring residents. - Public buildings open new land and raise the max level of homes and shops. Merging them needs enough residents. - Spend coins in Upgrades to earn more, build faster and get more energy. - When the city goal is done, open World and move to a new city. Controls: mouse or touch. Tap / click to build, drag and drop to merge, move or remove.
Opening an account with this game takes one press: Open the holding, above, and it loads on this page itself — nothing downloads and no form stands between you and the first decision. It is drawn for a portrait (upright) screen and takes its instructions from mouse, keyboard or touch, as the game prefers. The file is drawn tall, for an upright screen — a phone held the usual way frames it best, though it will run in any window you give it. If a fullscreen control is offered, take it — a growing enterprise deserves the whole desk.
Analyst's notes for merge holdings
- Keep the board breathing. A merge game is lost in the corners first — leave yourself empty squares the way you would leave yourself an exit, because a full board is a finished one.
- Merge upward in batches. Combining everything the instant it pairs feels productive and quietly wastes the chain bonuses that patient, staged merges set up.
- Know your top of tree. Merging without a target produces elegant clutter; merging toward one named prize turns the same moves into a campaign.
Little City Merge — questions from the readership
What does it cost to open Little City Merge?
Nothing, at any point. The holding is free from the first click to the last upgrade — no account to open, no download to wait for, no paywall filed anywhere in its pages. The advertising around this page is what pays the bookkeeping.
What kind of game is Little City Merge, exactly?
We file it on the Merge shelf of the ledger. It is a browser game through and through — the prospectus above is the publisher's own summary of what the game asks of you and what it gives back.
Can I play Little City Merge on a phone or tablet?
Yes — it runs in the browser on phones and tablets just as it does on a computer. The file is drawn tall, for an upright screen — a phone held the usual way frames it best, though it will run in any window you give it.
Is there anything to download or install first?
Nothing at all. Little City Merge is an HTML5 game: press the open button and it loads on this very page, and closing the tab leaves nothing behind on your device.
