Hatch That Egg: Tap & Crack
Prospectus
Hatch That Egg: Tap & Crack is a bright, cozy clicker about the simplest joy there is: smashing eggs open. Every run is a race against the clock. Tap the egg as fast as you can, crack the shell, and the next, tougher egg is already waiting. Every egg you hatch pays out shell and gems. Spend them in a big egg-shaped skill tree with five branches, Tap, Nest, Luck, Crack and Egg, and unlock special powers like Gold Strike, Lightning, Hot Streak, Lucky Block and Gold Magnet. Cute pets hop out of portals and peck the egg for you, and a whole rack of hammers changes how every hit looks and bursts. Hatch all 30 eggs of the campaign and NEW GAME + opens: endless eggs in 60 new designs, the Armory, where every hit on the anvil sharpens your hammer, and Rebirth for a permanent bonus. Climb the leaderboard with your best egg.
How it plays
Tap or click the egg as fast as you can to crack it before the clock runs out. Each cracked egg opens the next, tougher one; the eggs you hatch in one run are your score. Collect shell and gems, then open the skill tree between runs and buy upgrades: stronger taps, income that flows by itself, lucky bonuses, more time. Hatch all 30 eggs to finish the campaign and unlock NEW GAME +: endless eggs, the Armory and Rebirth. Optional ads give +15 seconds near the end of a run, x1.5 run rewards and free gems, and unlock some pets and hammers. Controls: mouse or touch. Esc or the pause button pauses a run.
Opening an account with this game takes one press: Open the holding, above, and it loads on this page itself — nothing downloads and no form stands between you and the first decision. It is drawn for a flexible screen and takes its instructions from mouse, keyboard or touch, as the game prefers. It adjusts itself to upright and wide screens alike, so phone, tablet and desktop all present it properly. If a fullscreen control is offered, take it — a growing enterprise deserves the whole desk.
Analyst's notes for clicker holdings
- Buy in bulk when the game lets you. Clicker economies are staircases, and the x10 and x100 buttons exist because single steps stop being the game quite early on.
- Milestones beat momentum. An upgrade that doubles everything is worth three that add a trickle — scan for multipliers before topping up the familiar producers.
- Let the idle income work overnight. Most clickers pay their best rates while you are doing something else; open the game to set the direction, then close it and let arithmetic drive.
